As my brother said in his blog piece, “Born 2B Moody” women can be moody. That is very true. However, I think men can also be moody too. Let’s see what I mean by saying this.

My brother is supposed to walk with me to school. I am always ready to go, and he is always late for reasons he knows best. The last minutes before we leave the house, he is in the bathroom, he is looking for his hat, socks, homework or even asking my dad to sign off a form that he had in his bag for several days. I had enough of this and decided I was old enough to walk to school by myself. I see this when we have to go to a party too. My mom and I will be ready, while my dad and brother will be dilly dallying around while the women have their shoes on. Their moods are really affecting how they manage time.

I think one of the reasons why men do not manage their time well is because of their disorganization. When I look at my brother’s desk, it is so disorganized that I wonder how he get to find his stuff on it. I am not going to talk about his closet and drawers today, but maybe that explains why he has to look for his socks or hats for a long time. Maybe my dad is a bit organized as my mom will not allow him to mess up the bedroom they share. Once again, their moods are really affecting them being organized.

Following instructions is another area men’s moods have affected. I think a man hear an instruction through the left ear and let it come out the right ear. I see my mom writing small notes to tell my dad a few things in the house. I used to wonder she does that until I asked her one day. She said when she tells my dad something, he does the opposite. That is why she started writing down to make sure he does the right thing. The same thing happens with my brother. My mom will have to say something over and over again before he can do it right. OMG, again their moods are really affecting the ability to follow instructions.

Can men multitask? No way. I see my mom doing laundry while boiling her beans and mopping the floor. How amazing she is. What about my dad? He will do the BBQ first then after that, come and put the load of laundry and sit down and watch TV waiting for the washer to stop. Meanwhile, he has to iron the clothes. He could actually put the laundry load in the washer, start to BBQ, and when he is done with BBQ, the washer will be done, and he could put the clothes into the drier, and start ironing. You know what, their moods are really affecting the ability to multitask.

There is a lot more things I could talk about, but I am concerned of my existence. I just wanted to say, as much as we are moody and we show it, we are just okay. My brother and dad are also moody. You know what… your moods are really causing a lot of problems with us girls/women.
