Hi Watotos! Last week at school I did a science project about arctic wolves. Did you know that wolves are part of the dog family? All wolves have sharp teeth and claws. They live in cold places in the far northern regions of North America and parts of Greenland. Most wolves live in the North Arctic.
Arctic wolves eat caribou, musk-oxen, hares, lemmings and deers.
The average weight of an adult male arctic wolf is up to 100 pounds. Their length is up to 5 feet, not including a 13-23 inches tail.
White arctic wolves are also known as polar wolves.
For the project I got a 4 mark and my teacher said that I spoke well and she could hear me at the back.
My mom helped me to make a diorama rubric of arctic wolves for the class project. Here is the picture of the diorama.
