On Friday June, 26, 2015, my mother, my mom’s friend, two of our fellow blog writers (Maxine and Danica), and I went to the Catholic Women League (CWL) Fashion show at St. Patrick’s Parish.

We were a bit late as we had to pass by to pick up my mom’s friend, but let me tell you that a lot of other people were very late. When we got there we gave our tickets in then we went to sit down. We found a pink bag filled with business cards and a small fashion magazine. On the table there was a piece of paper, a pen, and two rockets packs. The piece of paper was advertising for the “Peppertree Klassics” store on 137 Main Street. After we got to our seats we went to look around the place to see what they had. They had a lot of clothes and beautiful outfits.

Soon when they got things settled, they introduced themselves. Then the priest gave a blessing before we went to eat. The food was great. I had a Cesar salad, with meat lasagna and bread. That was a really good meal, compared with my brother’s graduation dinner meal, (but not better than my mother’s African meal of course!) . After dinner we just waited around until it was time for the fashion show to begin.

When it begun, the models came out in outfits of different colors. The first was the coral. Coral is like a sea color, it may look like pink to some people. The ladies came out wearing coral dresses and outfits. My fiend Maxine was actually wearing a coral dress.

Next there was the blue! My favourite color! Let me tell you, they mixed so many scarfs and hats together with the outfits, it looked really good. Blue was followed by the Canada day outfits. They even added little flags that light up. Then they got into golf outfits. Now I am not a fan of golf, the only time I play golf is when I play WII sports.

After there was a big round of applause when dessert was severed. I had a great time at the fashion show. Not only did I get to spend time with my mom and friends but I got to meet new people and I got to see what St. Patrick’s CWL could do, which that was really great. I got to see many women and some awesome designs.

I look forward to seeing what new fashions will come next year. I hope you enjoyed my article and maybe next you too could go and see for yourself!

P.S Thank you MOM!
