Food is very important for everybody. If you don’t eat you might die. So we should eat healthy foods more than junk foods. Everybody knows that you should not eat junk food everyday because you will get fat and sick. But you can eat junk foods once in a while.
Eat lots of good fruits like strawberries, cherries, apples, oranges, grapes and bananas. You can have a bit of canned fruits with syrup once in a while.
Eat dark green and orange healthy vegetables which are smart choices. For example eat spinach, cauliflower, carrots, pumpkins and Swiss chards. Fries are vegetables but eat them once in a while.
Milk products have high vitamins and minerals. Drink milk and eat some yoghurt. You can eat ice-cream, butter, milkshake and cheese once in a while.
Eat meat and alternatives such as chicken, beef, pork, goat meat, beans and lentils so as to get protein, vitamins and minerals you need in your body. You can eat hotdogs and bacon once in a while.
When you eat grains try to make sure that at least half of your servings is whole grain choices and low in sugar. Eat grains such as whole wheat bread, cereal, rice and, Ugali. You can eat pizza, cakes and muffins once in a while.
Some sweets and snacks are high in fat, salt and added sugar. So only once in a while you can eat a little bit of chips, candy, chocolates and soda. You can eat junky sweets and snacks for thanksgiving and Halloween. Eat healthy snacks all the time such as fruits and yoghurt.
