Every little girl’s dream is to grow up and be a princess. Even me there was a time I want to be a princess. But when I watch these entire Disney princess movies my mind is having a brain storm. Today my topic will be about all the Disney princesses being independent. I will also be doing a scale from 1-10. One thing for Disney movie is this most of the viewers are children’s.
Snow White is first one; Snow White movie was the first Disney princess movie. Snow White and the seven dwarfs and was a big hit. Snow White should get three points for cleaning up the dwarfs’ cottage when she sees how messy it was. This shows how responsible she was. Also, by running away from the castle and the queen, she will get three more points. Then, I will take away three points; because, she ate a poison apple from an old hag which she does not even know. Now Snow White remained with three points.
Cinderella is next. Cinderella is a very hard working girl. She worked hard, because she was being treated like a slave and she had more chores to do. So, I will give her six points. I was going to keep her points, but when she lost her shoe that was a pretty clumsy move. Therefore, two points is taken away from her. Ok I won’t be so harsh, I’ll give her one points for coming down and asking if she could try the shoe. Five points for Cinderella.
Next is Aurora. In the classic movie she is seen like she can’t do anything by herself. Her father is scared that she will wonder and prick her finger because of Maleficent’s curse, so he gives her to the three fairies and told them to bring her back when she is 16. In Maleficent, Aurora acts more like a 15 year old and knows how to be reasonable. I am giving her 1 from the classic, and two from Maleficent. Aurora gets three points.
Ariel is up. She is very adventurous. Ariel is up, always up for an adventure. The part which is bazaar is when she gives her voice to Ursula for the prince. In the second movie she almost gave up her life for her daughter who got caught by Ursula’s sister. I am going to give Ariel 6 points.
Next is Belle. So far I am giving her 3 points for being the only Disney princess who we’ve seen loves to read and write. Belle also helps her dad out at his shop without being asked. What a self motivated kid. And when her dad got trapped in the castle she went looking for him. She loves to make new friends even with people like a beast! Belle gets 10 points.
Jasmine is next. As her dad is the king she is a princess, she is loyal to her kingdom. I like friends who are loyal; I can choose Jasmine to be my friend. Jasmine is very friendly, and loves to help others. Sometimes she can be stubborn like all other humans they are. Jasmine took some big responsibility and is very good at listening to her father. I will give her 8 points.
Pocahontas. Pocahontas is very caring. She is so caring that she pleaded with her father not to get John Smith because they were good friends. She has a lot of things to do, and she is very busy, so she manages her time really well. In the end she knew that she couldn’t be with John Smith, so they had to take different directions. Pocahontas gets 9 points.
The rest of the princesses I will talk about them next week. These were all the classics princes. Next week will be for the newer ones. These are their places.
