For science, we had to choose an animal and research on it. We then did a presentation on the topic we chose to research on. I chose the animal Arctic rabbit. We also had to bring materials such as clay, yarn, rocks and a small cardboard box to school to make a diorama of the animal we researched on.

I chose the animal Arctic rabbit and here’s what I learnt during my research:

They are white
That arctic rabbits can camouflage in the snow so that predators can’t find them
Some of the arctic rabbits live in the arctic tundra where there is less snow and there are mountains
They eat carrots, grass, leaves, roots and bark. After we made our diorama we took four days to write our diorama report. The first page was about our animal’s description, the second page was about the animal’s shelter, the third page was about the land around the animal and the fourth page was about the animal’s habitat.
When we were all done our teacher wrote our names on the white erase board and every day for science three people did their presentations. While the kids were presenting our teacher recorded it so she could watch it and mark it.

This is my first time doing a presentation. It was a fun experience! Have you ever done a presentation?
