On October 17, 2014 my class went on a school trip to Downey’s farm. I got to Downey’s farm with a yellow bus.

I went to the corn maze and it was muddy. My shoes were very muddy. I went there on a waggon ride. The corn is grown for the animals (cows).

I looked at pumpkins and they taught me about different pumpkins. Like the green ones and the white ones are small. They are not healthy but you can use them for decorating your table. And the pumpkin that is called a squash, it is hard to open with a knife but you can open it if you just drop it in your garage. The orange ones you can curve for Halloween and they can also be cooked and eaten.

We petted the animals at the farm and I saw cows poop. After that we washed our hands and we had lunch. I then went to the park and went to the hay jump. I also went to the pillow jump.

It was fun at Downey’s farm. And at the end we got an art book and a small pumpkin we can curve at home. I asked my mom to make pumpkin soup for me with the pumpkin.
