The past few weeks in History class, I have been studying the history of New France (What we now call Home Sweet Home -Canada-).

As you might be aware already, I entered The Catholic Register’s Easter Drawing Competition. I drew my sketch during the March Break and submitted it the Monday following the break, with high hopes and fingers crossed.

This year my school started a drama club. Our drama club is called The C.A.S.T. We also like to go by Our stage is the world, our world is the stage.

At my school, all the students from grade 4 to 8 are required to write a speech on any topic of their choice. The time limit for juniors (grades 4 to 6) is 2 to 4 minutes. I chose the topic of mental health disorders.

A few weeks ago, I wrote the blog piece “Giving Up What” which I talked about ways we can fast something for lent.

Technology has changed over the past years and it has made our lives easier and our work more efficient.

Today I am going to teach you about Harriet Tubman. I read a book about her and learned many things.

Now that Lent is officially over, I am guessing that life is going to be more or less back to normal for the many who gave up something for the occasion.

For March Break, my mom and I went to Hollywood for a one week. I am going to be writing about my experience and what I saw on our trip.
