TO ME A TEACHER IS…

T: Thoughtful

C: Caring
H: Helpful
E: Encouraging
R: Responsible

It is back to school! A new school year, a new chapter, new classmates, and of course a new teacher. So far I love my teacher! Are you excited about all these new things?! To some people a teacher is just another person of life that you dread or love. But it doesn`t really matter anyway, right? We won`t remember our teachers when we are older right? Wrong! In fact, I hear my teachers compare things to their teachers. Teachers should be remembered, respected and cherished. How do you know how to speak and write, do the dishes, know your times tables, use manners? A teacher. They should be in our prayers every night because of the wonderful new adventures of learning they brought in our life, and so they continue to teach amazingly.

A teacher does not have to be a teacher in school or a boss at work. A teacher is someone who guides a person through the path of learning. You can learn from parents, relatives, friends, Jesus, even someone younger than you! Also a something can be a teacher too. Technology such as phones, tablets, computer and even a calculator has info that can easily be known in a few clicks. But I think I prefer knowledge straight from the brain. What about you? People say that elders have all knowledge and wisdom, but no matter how old you are, you can learn something. Besides, nobody knows everything except God. Have you noticed how all parents watch news a little more than we think they should? My prediction is that they are eager to learn things about the world. On a scale of 1-10, how great do you listen and participate while learning? This goes for adults to. We should all listen active and show we are eager to learn even if you really are scared. You probably will be very confident later. Treating your teacher with respect is the best way to repay them, because they taught you their knowledge.

Some people are so inspired by their teacher they want to be a teacher and pass on knowledge. If you are teaching a parent, sibling or anyone something, treat them with respect and how you would like to be treated. Teachers are one of the things we cannot live without. I hope you had a good summer being free, but back in school, the teachers will snap you out of your daydreams. I could keep talking for hours but I got to go to school! I should end with a quote. “The best teachers teach from the heart not the books (or I pad).” Keep up the writing!!
