It is that time of the year again. The snow is falling gently to the ground in a pirouette-like fashion. The children are blissfully playing outside, anticipating the amazing gifts they are to own shortly.

In memory of Vanessa Yasintha Wambura (August 2003 – August 2023). On Wednesday November 11th (Remembrance Day), all of the Grade 6’s in our school embarked on three separate buses to make our way downtown and explore the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO).

My dad drops me at school every morning. At school my teacher tries to make my class fun, but most students make trouble. I am the only one that is listening and also some of my friends listen to the teacher.

It is a part of my bathroom, and yours too. You can sometimes read on it (while my brother claims to meditate) and sing on it and yet not everyone has it. Some people think without it their life will not be complete and yet to others, life is fine without it.

I am on an animal saving team. The team is called Earth Rangers. It is a team that kids are on to help different animals. I had a presentation at school that inspired me to become an Earth Ranger.

I recently wrote about the Jian Ghomeshi (JG) scandals and how I thought that children nowadays are more vulnerable than they appear to be.

Do you keep hearing this word and still not really know what it is? Well, cancer is a common disease that begins in our cells. Normally, our genes (inside cells) tell our cells to do things like to run, grow and more! But, sometimes the orders get jumbled up and the cells may form lumps (tumours), or spread to other parts of the body.

I love cooking!! I can simply say that from the bottom of my heart! I’ve increased my knowledge of cooking over the past years. It’s amazing because I can be very creative by thinking up different recipes.

Have you heard or read all those advertisements about Christmas presents and decorations? I have and it is getting annoying!

I have recently been learning about cool facts and tips about ecosystems which I found fascinating. It is interesting to know the fact that everything in the natural world (Earth) is connected.

On Tuesday November 11th (yesterday) a special day is celebrated in Canada. It is Remembrance Day! What is that? It is a day (that may soon be a holiday) that is used to remember those soldiers (dead and alive) that have served in war for us. It is super important.

On October 17, 2014 my class went on a school trip to Downey's farm. I got to Downey's farm with a yellow bus.

Once again, from my morning must read book OUR DAILY BREAD, I read the funniest story ever about a man (when he was a child) who would be distracted by a comic book when really he was supposed to be cleaning his room.

Tanzania is a country in Africa. I was born in Canada. My parents are from Tanzania. I was baptized in Tanzania. The first time I went to Tanzania was in 2007 and I was 6 months old. The second time I went to Tanzania was in 2012 when I was 6 years old.
